This 2 year old miniature horse presented with severely deformed front feet. It was a rescue case and the new owner wanted me to try and make him comfortable. On examination it was noted that the horse was walking on the top of his hooves. The bottom of the hoof was not bearing any weight at all and therefore they were growing horizontal with the ground surface. The horse was having difficulty walking like this.
